T i c k T o c k ... as I look at amazing flight deals and refrain myself from buying yet since I have no idea when my interview is going to be. It is pretty painful. Meanwhile the flights go up in price.

I'm looking at flight now and then too, just cause I can, and there are a few realy nice flights in beginning of july that I'm really tempted to book. We hadn't plan to move over until the end of june or first week of july, because of my sons school and stuff, and by then I'm sure everyhing will be done. BUT I'm also pregnant so we can't buy the tickets anyway cause the baby needs her passport number before they let you book tickets to the us.

It's hard to find good flights up to alaska that wont cost you a fortune or will give you long layovers in like chicago. These ones i found is with one stop in frankfurt and then straight to anchorage. If only there was a way to get around the baby passport thing...

You're going to be extremely lucky if you get it that soon. Lately, it's been taking almost 2 weeks. Check out my spreadsheet in my signature to see recent trends. Someone JUST got their case number now and their NOA2 date is 3/1.

And I don't know how the panel physicians works in India. I'm surprised they let you book a date without even being at NVC first.

If you have the IIN, then yes, you can log into the payment portal. But I'm not sure if you want to pay bills right away since if your expedite request is approved, you won't be sending anything into NVC.

Just focus on giving the email addresses to NVC and then sending in the expedite request.

Saylin, My husband just called NVC and give my Email adress.For the Expedite request the guy told him that They just put my case today.Allow them !0-20 Business days to finish putting my Info into it.Then Send the Expediate request.What do you think saylin I will send Expedite request today or tomorrow since they didnt finish uploading my Info yet?

Steph n Saylin- I called NVC and they told me docs were not sent out yet. I have no idea why the visa specialist said they were...ahhhh worried for no reason. Waiting again again and again....

Well, by the time they get to your email, it will be a few days from now in which all your info should be inputted. Looking at how long it's been taking for DS-3032 approvals, it's been around 7-10 days for NVC to get to emails at their inquiry email address.

Hey guys,

What kinda pen do you guys use to sign forms such as: I-864, DS-230, I-130 etc....

I have been using black, pointy marker type pen, just to be safe.

But always thought a Blue color marker type pen looks more "legit". hmmmmm

Your thoughts?

It's easier to use a blue pen so you can easily tell the difference between the copy and the original.

Using a black pen isn't going to hurt anything, once they look at your original documents they can tell if it's an actual ink pen or a copy.

When I sent in my I-130 packet, I accidentally sent in my husband's copy of his G-325a and it was processed with out any issues. I'm sure after my Congressman ripped them a new one for losing our case, at that point they just wanted to get our case out the door.

Weird the line keeps going out for you. Have you had this problem when calling other people or just NVC?

As for how long it takes to receive the checklist, I'm not sure (I've got no experience with this), but I think it's usually within a few days. Remember, there's a lag between generating the checklist and the checklist actually being sent out, just like with all the other correspondence.

I have not had this call drop issue with other calls but the location where i'm calling could be the issue also. hmmmm..

In anycase, just spoke to an operator and a supervisor i think.

Looks like my Checklist for I-864 is due to not including 2011 income in the #25. What i had in I-864 #25 was 2010, 2009, and 2008. Didn't include 2011 because Transcript from IRS is not available now since i recently file the 2011 tax. They said i don't need the TRANSCRIPT! and since I included a copy 2011 1040x, i was to use that in the I-864 #25. So it would 2011, 2010, and 2009 total income in #25 in I-864. For 2011, since there isn't a Total income as there would be in IRS transcript, I was told to include the gross income amount or amount from W2, which both are same, except in 1040x, it is rounded.

You wouldn't have had the checklist if you would have left the 2011 tax return out. Because you sent it, you should have filled in '09, '10 & '11 tax info.

They prefer transcripts to the actual tax return, since you already sent it, redo your I-864 with the correct information and re-submit it. The delay sucks, and makes one even more miserable because it was a simple mistake.

When filling out tax forms you are supposed to round to the nearest whole dollar amount, per the form's instructions.
