Only uncomforting this is that we have not received interview emails and the docs are being sent to DR embassy (apparently)... lmao! Oh GOD can't wait till this is all over and done with and there is no more guessing around.

Okay, called up NVC (Apparently, most of the females keep their cool better than the males, lol)

They assured me this second e-mail with the AOS attachments won't confuse anybody and

that they are currently processing all the docs I sent out in the first.

Puts me at ease.

Yes, don't worry about sending that second email. They'll know what to do with it. I had to re-send my documents as well, and had no problems. I included a little paragraph like yours explaining why I was re-sending them and such.

I have seen some cases where it takes awhile to receive the interview letter. But if you're calling NVC and DOS everyday, you'll find out the date from them much sooner.

Is it happening just for me?

After waiting for about 18 min to talk to an Operator, finally picks up but the line drops while talking

Happened yesterday also while waiting. What gives?

Do you guys know how long it takes to receive the Checklist email? It was sent out for me yesterday, still haven't received it.

Weird the line keeps going out for you. Have you had this problem when calling other people or just NVC?

As for how long it takes to receive the checklist, I'm not sure (I've got no experience with this), but I think it's usually within a few days. Remember, there's a lag between generating the checklist and the checklist actually being sent out, just like with all the other correspondence.

Are you absolutely SURE your case was sent out? Have you confirmed it with at least five operators?

Then perhaps the DR is different than most countries where the case is shipped out first and then an interview date assigned. Do the DOS operators confirm what NVC says?

Did you get the Beneficiary Identification Number from the operator?

Did you give the petitioner and beneficiary's email addresses to the operator?
