Just called NVC...no case number yet. This is the 20th day so maybe they'll have it tonight..:-)

Looks like they're slowing down again :(

USCIS STAGE: 16 days No expedite request but USC residing abroad
NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete
03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

06/10/24: application submitted at post office for passport book and card, paid for expedited processing and shipping

06/24/24: received email notification that passport was approved, then shipped with tracking number

I called Visa specialist today to get use to their system. I was informed my case arrived at DR embassy today so here it goes again...waiting patiently...NOT! LOL!

When I called NVC they gave me the run around about the 2nd week of the month is when they schedule interviews (which I know is not true thanks to VJ)...

Who did you talk to to confirm the your case arrived? DOS? I just called DOS and I was informed that their System is down and they can't check my case out. And YES :angry:NVC are still giving the run around as well.

I talked to Ken today, very pleasant guy. He told me my case is being put into the system right now, he can not access it. With him not being able to see it, means there is a very good chance that a case number will be assigned soon. And to call back later today and he should have something for me. :thumbs:

I like Ken. He's about to become my new favorite person!

Ken sounds like good peeps. Gus was awesome on Friday. What's her name that I spoke to this morning - kind of vague but nice, and told me NOTHING. Less than normal. SO calling again at noon!

Did you imagine it takes 20 days to give a case no.So they are keeping up their promise 10-20 business days. like USCIS did.:(

NVC takes as long as CSC did with our case, I'm gonna be P*ssed.

USCIS- 260 Days

6/8/11~ Mailed I-130 Application, withdrew Canadian PR application
6/16/11~ NOA1 email and text message Case routed to CSC (Priority Date)
7/12/11~ The 'Money Order' Incident/Returned to Tennessee
8/03/11~ TOUCHED!
3/2/12~ APPROVED! NOA2!

NVC Electronic Processing- Montreal- 19 Days

3/21/12~ Received case number & IIN 20 Days after NOA2
