Hi!!

No I haven't been callig yet, does it really make a difference? I've been following this forum for a bit now and I see people call both morning and evening with no result. So that was actually something I wanted to ask, does it really speed things up to call or do I just end up with frustration and a huge phonebill, (making calls from sweden everyday)?

I would ask my husband to call but after a few calls with no result, he would not be able to hold his toungue and probably tell the poor person at the other end a few not so well chosen words and our cases would be lost forever over there.. :bonk:

Calling up doesn't help speed up things, but it definitely helps to get your case number quicker.

Chances are that VJ members with an NOA2 date from the CSC will get their case numbers on the same day from NVC, so if you are worried about racking up a phone bill just wait until you see one of us post the good news and then you can call. I also received my NOA2 on 3/2 and have been calling at least once a day since then. I will definitely post on this thread once I get the numbers from NVC.

HELP! I had my wife send over the email DS 303, but I just noticed that because her case number starts with MEP I should be doing online forms.. is this correct? what do I do now?

Chances are that VJ members with an NOA2 date from the CSC will get their case numbers on the same day from NVC, so if you are worried about racking up a phone bill just wait until you see one of us post the good news and then you can call. I also received my NOA2 on 3/2 and have been calling at least once a day since then. I will definitely post on this thread once I get the numbers from NVC.

Dimples will get the case # first since he got his NOA2 27th Feb.I got mine on 1st march.You,trav$shell and her on 2nd <March.NOne of us get any case #.I think it will go in order(not sure)

Well, it definitely has to be under $800 as that's my limit on my credit card. I'd prefer under $500 though :P If you can get a good deal like $100, I'll go this weekend!

So once the IV fee is paid, I will receive the IV pkg. via e-mail attachment? thanks for your usual assistance... :thumbs:

You don't need to wait for anything my friend. That will only slow you down. If you have your whole IV package ready to go then mail it top NVC (Make sure to print out the bar-coded cover sheet generated from the Portal and include it in your package)... what you need to have in your package is all listed in the NVC guide in the first two posts of this thread.

Mine showed as PAID last Thursday and I never received any IV pkg by email. Not necessary

Citizenship

6/24/2016: Mailed N-400 package via USPS from Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan

7/11/2016: Received NOA1 dated 7/5/2016

do you have an AOS Fee Bill, yet, or no? IF NO - call into NVC, and ask for an AOS FEE BILL to be sent to you, via email.

re: other stuff for MEP - it's exactly like Canadien EP - check out Saylin's wiki page (link in post #1)

IMO, having yer wife send in the DS-3032 will not change the MEP status..

Hopefully NVC processes cases in the order in which they were received, unlike USCIS. I have no problem with people who receive expedites, but from what I understand they don't jump ahead in the NVC queue, rather their cases are sent straight to the embassy/consulate where they will be doing the interview.

I have a good feeling we will all have our case numbers next week and by the end of the month or beginning of April we should have our cases completed with NVC.
