There's no such thing as an IV package: once you've paid the IV fee, you'll have a link on the receipt page of the payment portal taking you to DOS website for instructions. Just read the guides linked in the 1st page of this post and prepare your IV package accordingly, then you can send it as soon as your payment status turns to PAID.

Thank you! I was thinking that NVC would have sent DS-230 form via e-mail attachment or something :-/. Yes, I've already read the 1st page of this post as to how complete the IV pkg.

NVC made a mistake with our case number and embassy, so we emailed them right away with proof of residency for them to correct the mistake. They changed the case number when a new embassy is assigned--yes. The first 3 letters of our new case number are different due to the different embassy/consulate; the "ordinal day" portion of the case number is also different, based on the date they assigned the number (refer to LingChe's wiki section 3.3.3)

According to other posts on VJ, it's better to wait for the new case number before proceeding any further, just to avoid any further delays. In our case, we cannot proceed any further after they gave us the correct case number, because nvc is not giving us the AOS and IV bills. Btw I'm assuming by "visa number" you meant "NVC case number".

yes, that is what I meant, the NVC case number. Thank you for the reply. It does help.

I cant say right now but i know a Guy from a agency who provides a good deal.i will let you know. May be you will change ur mind. :innocent:

...

Well, it definitely has to be under $800 as that's my limit on my credit card. I'd prefer under $500 though :P If you can get a good deal like $100, I'll go this weekend! laughing.gif

Woohoo! Just received the DS-3032 acceptance e-mail. Now to pay the IV fee!

Grats!

I sent the DS-3032 email on Monday straight after getting the NVC number, but haven't got an acceptance of rejection yet. I did get the auto response so should I just wait for them to process the email or re-send the email?

Don't re-send it. It seems to be taking around a week currently for DS-3032 acceptance. Must be a lot of people sending emails to the inquiry address, so they've gotten clogged up.

No but there's a direct SAN - London Heathrow with British Airways.

I was in Paris last Tuesday for the medical, this is the view from the end of the street where the doctor's practice was :) :

wow.gif What a view! I'll admit, I'm jealous of you right now!

Hi Saylin,

Will NVC send the physical IV package via mail or by e-mail once the IV fee is paid? I don't see this information on your FAQ page.

Thanks for your help

If you give over the email addresses of the petitioner and beneficiary to an operator, NVC will email all correspondence. And you get a package about the IV, but no forms or anything. This is what I received: http://s128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/smurf47/Immigration/NVC%20DS-230%20email/

Hey guys!

How long after the case complete the interview is scheduled?

I am waiting have 10 days today... and nothing... :(

This varies by consulate/embassy. You can't ask a country-specific question here unless another Brazil member is watching and responds. You'd have to ask in the regional forum.

And remember, 10 days isn't long. I waited 15 days for mine. And not to scare you, but someone people even wait months to get there. I'm sure you'll be getting yours soon though.

Oh, I see that now, I was just going by the flag before  . I asked the other 2 Paraguayan IR-1/CR-1 members and they got their interview letters a week after CC so I'm hoping for the same. Other people going through Madrid would be able to give a better answer. Good luck!

Hey everyone!

I am filling out my I-864 and I just wanted to clarify some doubts. For the record, I tried looking through the pages in this thread but after skimming 7 pages (out of 129!) I think it may be easier just to post :)

1) Just to confirm, all blanks must be filled with either N/A or none. For example, #6 and #7 ask for the alien# and SSN of the immigrant, so I just write N/A?

2) In part 4 (Info. abt the sponsor) for #15 where it says country of domicile I should put Brazil where I live with my husband? Or should I put USA? Sometimes I think they put in trick questions...or it's so simple I think it must be wrong

3) Part 5 household size. Since I counted my husband in (a), for © I put 0? I remember seeing something about this before, but I just want to confirm. better safe than sorry right ;)

4) Since part 7 is about assets and I will not submit this information, do I need to put N/A for all the questions in that section?

Thank you!!!!

Yep, that's same for me and a few others - HI! :) Been calling NVC yet for your case number? :)

Hi!!

No I haven't been callig yet, does it really make a difference? I've been following this forum for a bit now and I see people call both morning and evening with no result. So that was actually something I wanted to ask, does it really speed things up to call or do I just end up with frustration and a huge phonebill, (making calls from sweden everyday)?

I would ask my husband to call but after a few calls with no result, he would not be able to hold his toungue and probably tell the poor person at the other end a few not so well chosen words and our cases would be lost forever over there.. :bonk:
