Okay AOS (E-mail) packet is all put together and ready to be sent to: NVCElectronic@State.gov

Here's what I'm including:(ALL PDFs)

• Bar Coded Cover Sheet

• I-864EZ Signed and Dated

• 2011 W-2 Tax Returns + Supporting W-2s

• Employment Letter (signed and dated by my boss and payroll officer)

• Pay Stubbs from the past 9 months

Look good? Missing anything?

For the tax returns, you have all the forms (1040 and any other schedules)?

For the pay stubs, do yours have a YTD (year-to-date) amount? If so, then you don't need to send 9 months worth. A little overkill laughing.gif

thanks!! but it means the same operator will give me three diferents numbers of cases or only one?? i am confused!!

You'll get three different numbers, one for each case. But you can get it all from the same operator. No need to call back again and again headbonk.gif

I personally am glad to hear that they are willing to change embassies. But after they change it, you get a new visa number? And cant start anything until they give you the new visa number? Sorry, but I'm just curious, because I will be requesting an embassy change also.

Their case was different. NVC issued the wrong case number (wrong consulate). Requesting a consulate/embassy change is different.

Found my passport! It was at the post office, haha. Thankfully they held onto it. I could have sworn I had brought it home with me :P

Oh, phew. Glad you have it! Don't lose it now :P

OMG then i will visit Paris just for sight seeing.I thought i would buy a lot of things from Paris but u broke my dream.

...

I'll join you! I've always wanted to go to Paris and see the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, and lots of other things!

Oh I don't need to. It's an invalid passport (the corner has been snipped off) that was issued in my maiden name. My current one has my married name :) I just keep the old one because first, hey you never know if you might need it, and second, it has lots of visa and U.S. entry stamps in it.

I had an old, expired passport too. I brought it with me since I had my old visa stamp in it.

Nice op at NVC, didn't sound robotic, chuckled with me a bit, and yet..."we're uploading your case, you wanna call us back in about a week." SIGH. Saylin, no dice - maybe Monday?

Gosh, I really hope so! I thought for sure you and Neela would be getting your case numbers this week!

Hi Saylin, I just looked at this interview letter... maybe my eyes are failing me, but what does the 'R' stand for on page 4?

Also, another question: on the i864EZ when they ask for "current individual annual income" in Q18, can my 2011 income (taken from W2) be used here even though I will be submitting 08, 09, 10 transcripts? Also, I list 08-10 in Q19. Can I do that or is that confusing?

I know they didn't define the "R". I'm assuming it means "received".

For current individual income, you have to put your 2012 income. If it's the same as 2011, then yes, you can.

For question 19, yes, if you haven't filed 2011 taxes yet, then use 2008 to 2010.

CALL! CALL! CALL! Last time before the weekend!

ok...calling lol... :D

And update...Gus was the most fun op to date. He asked my CIS number...I gave it. He started to ask for my name, then stopped himself and said exactly this:

"Actually, well, sorry about that. We haven't finished processing your case yet. It did arrive Monday the 12th, but the good news is that it's here and we're working on it. These cases can sometimes take up to 3 weeks to process into the system. The best I can tell you is to keep calling to check on it. Unfortunately, I have no other information I can give yet but if you have any other general questions that I can answer, I'd be happy to help you."

To which I said: "Actually, I have no general questions right now, I was just calling for more information because let's face it, this is the first bill I've WANTED to pay."

To which he said: "Well, that's good to hear! I'm sorry I didnt' have any more information, but hopefully the next time you call in I'll be able to give you some good news about your case."

Well, there's always Monday. And there's another first - never really liked Mondays, until now :)

No dice, but I had fun with Gus! :) (read my above review, lol) Monday it is? :)

Also kind of wondered - do they have ANY way of tracking how often we call? Because if they can see how many calls we make, maybe Gus was sort of telling me "Call Monday, you'll have a number..." LOL. Wishful thinking at its finest! :)

hi guys.

I paid my affidavit of support today. then i printed out the cover sheet. payment status says in process. i checked it a few hours later my payment status says payment rejected!!! has anybody experienced this? any help would be appreciated. thanks!

I'm guessing either the routing or checking/savings account numbers were entered wrong.

Did the $88 ever leave the account? Or appear as if it would?

I highly doubt it will change now to accepted. Try paying it again. Triple-check the numbers with one of your checks. If there's someone else that lives with you, have them check the numbers as well.

thanks saylin. i appreciate your input... do you know if aos fee will show up as pending charge in your bank account, even though the nvc have not changed your payment status to paid yet?
