I am so happy!! The operator had to remind me to take a deep breath hahaha. I'd like to thank Saylin for always being so readily available, professional and most of all patient in answering all my questions. I wouldn't have been able to get through NVC without her and all the other people that helped me along the way.

I am glad to say my journey with NVC is over. Now I will patiently wait for an interview.

10/07/2011- RFE(4 pages)

11/15/2011- RFE reply sent back to USCIS

12/05/2011- reply for RFE showed up in the system (took them 20 days to locate and input in the system...lucky us...)

01/11/2012- NOA2(urrrrraaaaa!!!!)

NVC

01/23/2012-case received(took 12 days...waiting for the case #)

01/27/2012-case # received(but wrong Embassy assigned...has to change)

02/01/2012-invoices are e-mailed to both of us by NVC

02/07/2012-invoices are paid(had to wait due to the wrong assignment of the embassy )

02/14/2012-both packgs are sent in

02/29/2012-checklist for a missing copy of passport(not missing in reality,but either wait 20 days for a review or send it in again,so we sent it in...)

03/09/2012-case complete( could have taken less ,but well..who cares it is complete now!!!)

Are you kidding, right, you're hunting with the Mosin? no serious what do you use for deer hunting?

I have a 7mm 700 remington sps for hunting.

Buy her a .22 gun to start with as it has a soft kick, if you start teaching her with you 7.62 she'll hate it.

Actually, I don't hunt. Thought about it but never got around to it as yet. Though, I do know people who hunt with Mosins and they do the job just fine. :)

I have a Henry lever action .22 to start with and a Ruger 10/22. We can easily move up from there. :D

As for the name to use, once you're married, you always use "Mrs." as you're no longer a "Ms.". Then, if you haven't taken his last name, then use your maiden name, so Mrs. Fernand.

thanks Saylin, another person mentioned that since i'm sending 2010 tax returns and a 2012 pay stub there is no info for 2011??? what to do?? will that trigger an RFE? Should i just send my completed return and not my joint sponsors since her 2011 is not yet completed. I HATE TAXES :-)
