And let me guess, IV bill won't be invoiced right after DS-3032 is accepted.

Just lovely :bonk:

Why would you guess?

This is a well-documented FACT.

Thanks again :)

Yours should come soon I would think.

I hope I got the email out of the inbox quick enough. It would be unfortunate to ruin the surprise.

Her HP Touchpad (the firesale was awesome!) checks my email.

She gets the same email in her inbox for the appointment letter

The guy who designed that system probably died of a headache :bonk:

My theory is that the project was over-budget, then the funding was cut,

and it's been left 'as is' for 2.9 years, to date.

Tax transcript is a summary of tax returns (1040s). On the tax transcript, it will state somewhere near the middle, what form was filled that year (1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, etc).

OKAYYY!! Finally that makes sense. :innocent: I apologize, I am still learning about all this tax and financial business. Forgive me. :innocent::star:

Hi everyone, not sure how this works, my AOS payment was accepted.

Please re read all content from all links in Post #1.

Then, when you've finished that, read em all again, this time taking copious notes, pen to paper.

Then when you've got it all on paper,

do please read the FAQ section in post #2.

Post #1 and Post #2 are both on page one of this topic.

Good Luck !

Am I able to send in my AOS packet via email?

After I got my AOS Bill Receipt it said, "To submit your application form online, click DS-260 then log in to the

Consular Electronic Applications Center and follow the instructions displayed."

However, when I go into CEAC's website, I don't see anything that says DS-260.

So then when I go to the DS-260s instructions it says, "If CEAC provides you with online payment information only, you are NOT required to complete the DS-260."

So I guess I don't have to submit DS-260 or I-864EZ or DS-230?

Does yer casefile # start with MEP or CDJ? If CDJ, call into NVC, ask to be an 'Electronic Processing Case for Mexico'

Then, in a few days, yer casefile will get rehomed from CDJ (paper casefile for Cuidad de Juarez) to MEP (Mexico Electronic Processing).

If yer already an MEP casefile, somethings wonky.

When you call back, ask for a supervisor.

Questions for the Supervisor:

1. two casefiles are joined up, or no?

2. OPT IN Accepted on daughters casefile, or no?

3. What's up with detaching the DS-3032 with the OPT IN email on the daughter's casefile, and attaching it to her case in SAFEFILE? What's the holdup ?

----

ya know, some folk had this exact same issue in the FEB 2012 NVC thread.

Suggest you read a bit there, tonight-ish, see what's what.

what am i missing here? what is the opt in guz stuff, i'm totally lost? all i did was send the agent email with signed attachment that was already barcoded, and paid the bill which has been withdrawn from my account...now just waiting for IV bill...am i supposed to do something else?

The reason they ask for Total Income is because it includes things like earnings from interest, dividends, capital gains from investments, alimony, social security, etc.

Most of that other income isn't reportable on the 1040EZ, but is reportable on the 1040 with other forms.

Those folksen required to file the 1040 instead of the 1040EZ should know this, already,

unless it's the first year to receive appreciable income from these other sources (non-w2-income).

CONGRATS!

My case was also complete at NVC on March 09, 2012

I Called NVC to inquire about interview date and they told me that all interviews for April have been scheduled already and that we have to wait until May.

Is this true?

for an embassy location of 'N/A' ? absolutely true !

+ 1 for quoting the entire FAQ post. You Rock. Remember, Saylin works for tips - and the most appreciated tip is Powdered Poutine Gravy, sent to her lockbox postal address, 1 kg or more.

My apologies - I answered a specific post, for a petitioner with 2 casefiles at NVC, headed to Guangzhou Immigrant Visa Unit; where the petitioner has opted in to NVC Electronic Processing.

Yer gonna interview in Madrid, Spain, so my post (in response to another human) is in no-way pertinent to you.

The process is different for NVC Electronic Processing casefile types, when compared to 'paper-submittal' casefile types.

Spain does not participate in the NVC Electronic Processing Program, alas.

I've no idea why you are responding to my post responding to another person's post.
