Hi everyone,

I received my NOA2 on the 16th of March and although it hasn't been a week from it yet, I call NVC once a day to see if my file is with them. Every operator asks my notice date and tells me to call in 15 work days. Do you guys give a different NOA2 date to get an answer? Or are there angelic operators who give you info regardless of your NOA2 date?

I'm sorry if this question was asked before. I've been reading the thread for like an hour but gave up after the 90th page or something :innocent:

I doubt that giving them a wrong NOA2 date will do you any good. They wont be able to give you any info until they actually got your case in da house. For me it took 10 days from my noa2 until NVC recieved it, and after that another 10 days to get my case number..

Noa 2 March 2nd

NVC case numbers March 22nd
My sons AOS and IV bill paid March 23rd (status in progress)
My sons AOS and IV bill shows as paid March 26
My IV bill paid March 26
Both packages sent on March 26
My IV bill shows as paid on March 27th
CC on both cases March 30

Current record holder of fastest through the NVC :D

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
POE Anchorage July 12th!! 2012

July 2015 n-400 in the mail

After all this wait would be kindof cool and less stressful to have eachother there. I mean we basically contact eachother daily to see if there is anything news...atleast that day we'll see the end of it together with GREEN APPROVAL PAPERS...YUPEEE!

The answer was in the 91st page! :lol: I'm kidding....nah it been pretty much generic answers, just keep calling back, however they are pretty backlogged lately and some Members here just got their Case# after 20 days since NVC received their case. I would say that they received your file but didn't load it into the system, I can be wrong.

Your I-130 was approved in 196 days from your NOA1 date

02/13/2012---- NVC Received (3 days after NOA2 approval)

04/09/2012---- Interview assigned 17 MAY2012 (30 days after NVC CC)

04/11/2012---- Visa issued and Passport stamped received ( US Consulate Casablanca, Morocco)

Hi there, i suggest u just provide them your USCIS receipt number..with that they can even provide you the exact date when they received your case in the NVC..just be patient..my NOA2 was approved 7th of march and just got my son's case number today which took 15 days before i got his NVC case number...goodluck then hopefully we'll be out from the NVC with all our cases completed this early part of april so we can go through with the interview and medical... :innocent:

I am preparing my DS-230 form together with my son's who is just 1-year old now..i need to know if will i be the one to sign on the signature of applicant in the DS-230 form for my son's? or just leave it blank with N/A print on it? :wacko:

It takes about 10 days to get an NVC number. Just keep calling :)

My opt-in email was accepted this morning. I still can not log on to fill out the DS-261.. but I'm sure we will be able to soon!!

You sign your name on the form. The child obviously can't sign for himself :)

A parent can legally sign their own name on forms for minor children under 16 years old.

This is the hardest part of the whole NVC. Waiting on that damn number!

It took 10 days for NVC to receive our case. Then 9 days to get our number. That seems to be about average.

Just keep calling, eventually you will cycle through all the agents... one of them remembered me from calling a few days before lol

After 10 days from your NOA2 date start calling them twice a day (if you can). After you know they have your case, call twice a day. I started calling three times a day after day 7.

USCIS- 260 Days

:help:Quick question for any VJ Expert (Sayliiin! LOL) ...

When we went through the I-130 Stage, we qualified to have our case expedited and it was approved back then. Now, once I sent the IV package (Which is the last step we have pending) and once our case is completed @ NVC, Can we submit the same expedite to get our Interview date scheduled? Do we do this through NVC or the Embassy? Who do we call or what is the procedure for accomplish this?

For some reason I had been thinking all this time that the expedite was only good for the USCIS stage, but can it be used again for this very last step?

Any answers or more detailed information is greatly appreciated.

6/24/2016: Mailed N-400 package via USPS from Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan

7/11/2016: Received NOA1 dated 7/5/2016

11/3/2016: Received email from USCIS-Seoul Office with Naturalization appt set for 11/30/2016

11/30/2016: Naturalization Interview on Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan. N-400 Approved

So, since I rarely post, and I always hover :)

I figured I would share.....NVC received my case on Monday, March 19. No case number yet. So, it took 10 days to be received. And I don't call them daily. I call every 2-3 days. So, for everyone still waiting...don't worry, its coming.

9/21/11 - Married in Syria
11/16/11 - Fedex I-130
11/17/11 - Received at USCIS
11/18/11 - Text received from USCIS - papers received - sent to California for processing
11/21/11 - touched
11/22/11 - check cleared - Received NOA1 form in mail
3/9/12 - Approved!!! NOA2!!! 113 days!
3/15/12 - NOA2 received in mail
3/19/12 - NVC received - no case # yet
4/3/12 - Case number received!
4/4/12 - Paid AOS bill (in process) and completed DS-261 Agent form / also emailed request to transfer to Beirut, Lebanon for interview
4/5/12 - AOS bill shows paid!
4/6/12 - emailed I-864ez and tax info
4/9/12 - (rec. confirmation email)I-864 and tax documents received by NVC / request to transfer embassy denied
4/30/12 - finally received confirmation email aos/i-864 approved (case was held due to embassy transfer request!!!)
5/2/12 - IV bill appeared online - paid!
5/3/12 - IV bill shows paid!
5/10/12 - FINALLY submitted DS-260 and emailed all supporting documents
5/15/12 - checklist from NVC - needed different marriage certificate
5/20/12 - emailed other marriage certificate

5/29/12 - CASE COMPLETE! FINALLY!!!

6/4/12 - Interview Scheduled

7/22/12 - INTERVIEW! APPROVED! NO A/P. KEPT HIS PASSPORT

7/28/12 - Visa in hand

7/29/12 - POE Philadelphia!

5/5/14 - Mailed form I-751

5/6/14 - Packet received at USCIS Vermont - signed for by A.Scoss

5/6/14 - NOA1 receipt date
