Nothing? I guess it depends on how your life was going in Canada vs how it is going in the USA. It also depends probably on your political persuasion somewhat.

Funny you should ask this question. I started a list of items I can't get in Fla.... or at least haven't found, as yet... so I can bring at least some of them back with me. I know there's more but....

- white pepper

- real German rye bread (not that doughy stuff)

- garlic herb cream cheese

- fibre bread

- Bovril

- Campbell's chicken and beef broth

I'm definitely going to miss my morning coffee at the Horton's but I really like the Starbuck's house blend from the Walmart so I guess I'll just make my own. :)

I've seen Campbell's Chicken and Beef broth in stores here in NC. I never use them tho, too much salt and other #######. Bovril too. Too much salt. I use Watkins soup mixes. Lower salt and no MSG. They're very yummy

mmmmmmmmm Crown Royal. Now I'm going to have to make a trip to the ABC store. I've been here 2 years this week, and never stepped foot in the liquor store yet. Howz that for pathetic? ;)

Lol, Sharon is a Manager for a few of the NYF's in Ottawa, maybe she can get some sent to you....And just so happens, there's a Timmy's right next to her stores..lol. I'd never heard of Poutine before meeting Sharon, and now it's all I hear about. I'll pass along your requst to her, and who knows, if Fedex has a "hotPack" you might be getting a knock at your door with some fresh, hot Poutine soon :D

I made myself some poutine a few months ago. We'd been up in Wisconsin for a week and I bought some curds, then I made chips from scratch, and some beef gravy and ate 'em all up

My dogs like cheese curds. Folks around here who have eaten curds (there's a cheese maker apparenty up near Asheville) and they didn't know what it was called, so they just call it squeeky cheese.

Not so much foods that I miss, but foods that I bought and was all excited to eat, unti I opened them up and they were different and NOT what I was expecting -

Corn Pops - down here they taste like syrofoam packing peanuts

Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup

Oh yeah, and I miss All Dressed Ruffles, too, but I probably shouldn't be eating those anyways so it's a good thing!

i'd forgotten about rick mercer until i saw a commercial for him during the hockey game the other night! another miss. and corner gas too, although i've season 1 & 2 on DVD.

my mom is the best though...i got a care package today with shreddies, smarties, the hockey news & tetley tea!

oh, and i'm not a fan of the angled parking either. i prefer to back in and keep ending up driving the 'wrong' way down the aisles apparently.

I do the same thing. Some of the parking lots around here are set up really stupid.

I hope I can get home next month for a visit. I'm almost out of Gravol.
