hi guys/gals... my faince is a smoker..it is what it is. He smokes a brand of cigarettes called Gauloises. I have not seen this brand in the US and wondered if anybody here use to smoke them and which substitute did you make when you came to the US... i know marlboro are available in morocco and in the USA but wondered about different brands that possibly arent as expensive? Now i understand that some of you all will turn up your nose at this and if you'd refrain from giving speeches about quitting and how unhealthy it is and leave it for somebody who can supply an answer that is really what im here to ask about today. Thanks for your consideration and input.

Adam smokes Marlboro menthol here. I wish he would quit, he even said when he came to the US he would... what a lie! but anyways, he smokes about a pack or less a day so he buys a carton plus a couple packs once every two weeks. Much cheaper than a pack a day

Sameh smoked when he first got here. He would go to the store and try different brands until he found one close to what he smoked in Egypt. Thank god once the insurance kicked in he started taking chantix and quit after being here for 3 months. He was ready to quit though.

i've known a couple gauloises smokers in the states. they're available here. they might not be readily available in your area, but they can be bought online. as to how the ones bought here taste as opposed to ones bought in france or morocco, no idea. i guess he can play taster's choice when he gets here.

or what? People don't quit smoking until they want to and are ready to do so. Anonymous internet warnings from perfect strangers to the smokers wife/fiance are useless. He very likely already knows the dangers involved.
