I think the U.S. Government just likes f*cking with me.

Trent's Visa petition still isn't approved and my tax returns are delayed AGAIN!

I e-filed my return on February 2. I had the confirmation e-mail from the IRS later that day. At first the 'where's my refund' thing didn't even work for me. It was posted to try again later. It finally worked this past Friday and It said to expect my refund on March 6, 2012. Lovely. I checked again today and it says "Due to processing delays you can expect your refund on March 13, 2012. UGGGHH

I had bought a washing machine on my Lowe's card and I was hoping to pay it off with in a month (with the tax return) to avoid the interest. So much for that!!

I know they have said on the news, tax returns are delayed from the new software they are using to combat fraud. A return filed with EIC or any other schedules can be delayed.

I got the EIC, Child Tax Credit and had schedule C for self employment income, so I'm getting beat with the fraud software stick. :bonk:

It's been 10 days since I received the letter from my Congressman about the status of our I-130. I'm slowly ticking off the days (14 days since the date on the letter) to his '30 day' mark to e-mail him so he can shove CSC into some kind of action on our petition.

I'm having a tough time this semester at school. lol I can't just cruise by, I have to actually study and open books and stuff, so that's just added stress.

My oldest child has bi-polar disorder and he went into a manic swing over the weekend that required an emergency trip to his doctor to adjust his medication.

Nope, nothing...

USCIS told our Congressman our petition was with an officer and would be adjudicated in 45 days. He said to wait 30 days and if we did not hear back from USCIS to email him. I hope he lights a huge fire under their butts...
