So we're preparing for the NVC, and I think we've got more questions here about AOS than an average Lagos CO.

My wife makes the 125% of what's required for Hawaii with a good margin, and she has for many years. But she has been going from job to job a lot, and last year only worked seasonally (still above 125%). The company she worked for seasonally just hired her full time about a month ago. With the affidavit, we're going to include:

1. Federal tax returns for the last three years, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

2. W-2 from 2011.

3. All pay stubs from 2012.

4. Employer letter from current job stating she is now hired full time, and stating her salary.

Are we missing anything?

Also, what should an employment letter look like? She is paid hourly, works 40 hours a week, and while the hourly makes well above poverty guidelines, she receives a big portion of her pay as monthly commission.

Is the NVC/consulate going to rely on us to multiply her hourly by 40, then by 7, and then by 52?

Who should the letter be signed by?

This is a small family business.. They do hand shakes, not work contracts. But they are willing to write an employer letter.
