I've read all of them and all Harry Potter-books. I haven't been ivolved in any massacres so far and don't consider either series evil.

To the lady in Atlanta: maybe books aren't the problem, but the ready accessibility of assault weapons...

WOW JK Rowling has been thwarted!!! I cant believe that someone figured out her plot to teach kids witchcraft and then take over the muggle world. No wonder airport security did not want to let her on the plane with book 7 manuscript... All hail JK Rowling!!!!

You have got to be kidding me!!! Ok so I am a self-confessed Harry Potter fan, and have seen ever film at least twice. I even sent off my acting resume to the casting director of HP and the Goblet of Fire, as well as for a part in HP and the prisoner of Azkaban. Does that mean I am evil too? Maybe if I told you I was writing a novel about magic and suspense and the evil that people do, you might be more scared.

Honestly, this woman has too much time on her hands. One minute they tell us kids don't have enough imagination becuase all they do is play computers all day, and the next some dozy twonk is trying to convince the world that reading is evil. She obviously hasn't read them.

Maybe we should all get together and knock some sense into her

Count me in. On top of that, I also read all Harry Potter book, am eagerly waiting for the 7th one, watched all the HP movies, plus have some HP screen savers installed on my computer !! I'm the "king of evil" !!!

The local news media here in the Atlanta area reported on the story and finished with the phrase: "And what is all this turmoil about Hogwarts all worth? Hogwash!" This woman isn't swaying the local school boards with her arguments.
