Im a usa born citizen so i checked off the box for birth in the u.s. where it asks how i aquired my citizen ship. But after that, it says (give number of certificate, date and place it was issued). i checked my birth certificate and it doesn't have a number. so i don't understand what this question is referring to? can anyone help me with this? thank you

You don't have a number - you were born here. That questions is for those that immigrated here and became citizens.

You dont need no number you are a citizen and you were born here so you good.
