So my husband saw

Dr. Marciano A Tiu Figueroa, Jr,

North Hudson Community Action Corporation Health Center at Hoboken (Family Practice)

124 Grand Street, 2nd Floor, Hoboken, NJ 07030

(201) 795-9521

friday last week. He's actually my brother and mother's PMD and we had to see him in Hoboken because they don't allow him to do any USCIS related cases at his private practice location, w/c is 10 minutes from our home. Okay whatever, so we travelled just to see him and help us do our paperwork. The receptionist asked for ID (copy of passport demo), proof of address (copy of Social Security letter with his name and address), a letter of support and residence from me (since he is unemployed and no income). They based our payment on my income and I should've put a BS number there since they didn’t really ask for any official documentation for my income. Whatever, I only paid $45.

Then after a 30 minute wait, a nurse called us in to the room, did his vitals (bp, height, weight, temp) and asked for his medical history. Then he asked us what was the reason he was there, so I told him we're there for the vaccination records to be transferred to a uscis form I693, so I handed him page 1 and 5 only. Then the nurse asked for the other pages and I told him that the other pages are for the complete physical and he didn't need a complete physical because he had it back in Aug 2011. The nurse then said "Well it doesn't matter if he had the complete physical or not, he would need blood testing and PPD testing and whatever the doctor orders." And I'm like, "No he does not need those tests because according to the official instructions only page 1 and page 5 needed to be filled out!" And I'm starting to act like a b!tch because this guy does not know what he's saying. He went on about their procedure blah blah blah. And I just said, "Alright, I'll speak with the doctor then". We didn't want to leave because I know the doctor already and some other doctors here in NJ are a total rip off.

After waiting 15 minutes, Dr. came in and said he did not need the blood testing but he needs the PPD test and there was nothing noted on the DS 3025 if he had it done or not. So we told him that they had him do an x-ray which was negative and we have the CD and he says that they do not honor that. At this point, I was tired of arguing because I like this Dr. and I wanted this to be over.

So they gave him the PPD, pay an extra $10 and was asked to come back Monday, which is today, for a reading. If it becomes positive, he needs a chest xray. Great!

So today, he went there and thank GOD he’s negative because we have all our arguments lined up and we’re ready for a fight (I also called USCIS to verify the instructions too and she pretty much said page 1 and 5 only). So the Dr. gave him a copy of the signed I693 and the sealed envelope!

So that’s about it! Good luck to the rest of you. Just be ready to fight and argue. Believe me, I called every single civil surgeon near our area and either they charge you an amount for the complete physical or they totally don’t know what you’re talking about. I guess going to this Dr. is your best bet.
