hello,

My wife's CR1 interview is scheduled on 3/27 at Montreal. I have a question about the documents we need to bring. Do we have to bring my wife's original birth certificate and original police records for interview. The reason i asked is we don't have the original ones at hand. Both of them have been submitted to NVC already. It really takes time for us to get the original ones and we don't know whether we could make it before 3/27.

Any suggestions or comments will be really appreciated.

Thank you.

If you didn't do EP and snail mailed both packages to NVC, then you don't have to worry about bringing the same documents to the interview. Just worry about the other documents that are needed for the interview.

Thank you for the quick response.

In the P4, NVC did indicate that both original documents have been received and accepted.

Even further proof that there is no need to bring those documents ;)
