Fellow Oklahoman and Devient Art fan! Congratulations! I am new to VJ as well. My fiance and I are a little farther along in the process. We are now preparing for his interview. Let me know, if you are anywhere near the city and want to meet for coffee to discuss this crazy process. I would love to have a local friend who understands this amazing journey!

That is so very sweet of you. Unfortunately, I live about 2 1/2 hours away from OKC, however I come up to visit a friend every once in awhile that lives there. So if I need any help by the next time I come up, I'll definitely get in touch with you! Thanks again. :D It really would be nice to have a friend around here that understands it all.

I found this website AFTER I had already begun my process, but because it's a 'journey' - I am still here, even after I received my visa. There are just so many useful forums and people here have been quick with advice and support. Don't know what I would do without it.

Welcome :) It's great to see another young couple, haha. Do lots of reading, printing out forms/instructions, rough drafts of paper work, and ask lots of questions, even if you feel like you're being paranoid or annoying. It's better than f*cking up your paperwork :yes:
