I am a USC filed for i130 for both my wife and stepson, got both receipt numbers.. my wife and i have been married for 20 months and have a 18 months old baby girl, born in Nicaragua but got her american passport and i now living with me here in the US.

I am so confused with this whole process, and i wish i knew how much longer I have to wait until i can have my wife next to me. :(

Congrats! And welcome to the club. My wife and I just filed in the beginning of this month too. If you get the Vermont Service Center your I-130 should be approved within 3 - 4 months. Then, if you prepare well for the NVC process, you may have that done in about 3 - 4 weeks. After that it all depends when her interview is scheduled. I'd anticipate about 4 to 6 weeks from NVC.

All in all.. If you get the Vermont Service Center, you could expect about 6 months.. That isn't bad for this type of process.
