i have never seen so much psychopathology in nursing as in the maternity wards. sure, some of the staff are real winners, but some of them are mysandrogenistic to an extreme. in this case they need to be slapped hard.

It is interesting that all those who have defended the actions of the father are men, and the women who have contributed have defended the nurses? That's not to say that all the men who have commented have supported the fathers, but still, the gender divide is striking.

I have to go with Charles on this -- he probably thought being a Kennedy made him above hospital regulations. There was a protocol in place and it should have been adhered to. Can you imagine if some man who was not the father, but whom the doctor believed to be the father, walked out with the child?

I will give you half a point there. For my part I did not say they were unreasonable control freaks but rather they may have come across that way! I wasn't there and I am guessing you were not either so we are only left with the reports from the women who were witnesses. And as has been pointed out above gender matters!

Coincidentally , the DA that's filing the charges is female.

also Coincidentally the DA went to the same law school as Robert Spolzino the Chairman of the hospital board of trustees.

Also until he recently retired from the bench due insufficent pay, Robert Spolzino was presiding over cases that the DA was prosecuting.

they both have ties to Nick Spano. I think Kennedy got out-cronyed this time
