Hey! To all my contacts, sorry I havent been on, it was hard for me to see others get visas while we were in some administrative process for 4 months. (it was less but we never recieved word that the package had arrived to DHL.

Anyway, they sent the visa, with only 2 months to get to the states and the do not open package was ripped at the bottom, not entirely but alot.

They sent it in crappy conditions, Are we gonna get in trouble at the POE?

Fell in love on a missions trip in 2005, got married in 07, got pregnant and started IR1 visa process in 08, had baby number 2 in 10, and its now 2011, and we are just now finally getting to the end of this long road. (The mail from the embassy never arrives to my home, causing us trouble. Fingers crossed and prayers going up! Both kids born and raised in Mexico and American citizens by CRBA:

His Appointement is October 25th!

Is the hole or tears big enough to remove documents out of? Does the enevelope look like it's been tampered with? If looking at it from an unemotional stand-point, would YOU accept it?

If you are unsure of any of this, take it back to the consulate to have it resealed.

Good luck

I dont know if Id take it, nothing can get out of the bottom where it is open, it really does look tampered with. How can I get this back to the Embassy? I live too far way..

Whats in the package anyways?

It has all immigration doc related to your application. If you are too unsure about the packing condition, then better to get resealed for safe poe.
