Hi, and congrats on your engagement!

You have come to the right place :)

Is your fiance a US citizen or does he have a green card? Also, I assume that once you are married in June, you will still be in F-1 status?

You will need to file what's called an I-130/I-485 package. The I-130 is a form that your husband fills out once you're married basically asking the USCIS "I am married to Lyli92, may she live here?" and the I-485 is a form you fill out to adjust your status from F-1 to Legal Permanent Resident, also called a green card. You will be lawfully in the US while this is being done, even if your student status should expire in the mean time.

Along with the I-130/I-485 package, you may also file a form I-765. This is an application for work authorization. This takes about 90 days to process, but once approved, you may work legally in the US, even before your status is adjusted.

Read the link Canadian_wife gave you! Good luck!! :)
