It feels like all of the other December filers have received their EAD, AP, and interview dates except me. :( It has been 75 days since we sent in our application. 55+ days since biometrics. But everything is still in "Initial Review" and has not been touched since our checks were cashed.

Has anyone else had similar wait times? I am in NYC so I get that it can be slower than the rest of the country... but I'm starting to get worried. :(

The OP has been waiting 75 days, and the 3 months is an estimate, not a guarantee.

I guess this is what I was recalling...this is copied from the I-765 instructions page.

"If you have not received a decisio within 90 days by USCIS of a properly filed EAD application...you maye request interim work authorization by calling USCIS National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 or by appearing in person at your local USCIS field office by making an InfoPass appointment..."

I understand the 90 days is an estimate...my interpretation of their document was if it doesn indeed take longer than that time period you can get a temp authorization to go ahead and get to work.

I understand the OP is only at 75 - just figured I would put it out there if anyone ended up at that 90 day point - I notice Pink Melody mentioned that did occur with at least one situation.

Thanks jdh, that's helpful to know. I had heard the 90 day thing but didn't realize/remember that it's actually on the I-765 instructions page. I guess I'll just nervously countdown the days and hope I hear something before then!
