August 2011 Petition Approvals??

I know there's a Timeline guide and so on and I do check the USCIS site for our petition status on a regular basis (which hasn't updated since last August) but I was just wondering if any August 2011 I130 petitions have been approved for anyone on here? We posted ours away on August 15th. It was last updated on the USCIS site on August 18th and we haven't heard a peep since.

There has been a number of August petitions approved about the past 2 weeks. You should check igors list it will give you the latest approvals. Ours is August 19th and nothing yet as well.

You're not going to believe this. An hour ago my wife called the USCIS and got speaking with someone who told her we should be getting our decision within the next 14 days. We just got an email of Approval 2 minutes ago.lol

That is awesome!!! I was just lokking at Igors list and thought I was seeing things. Knowing that you just posted how you were not approved as yet. CONGRATS!

my priority date is august 15th and got an RFE... waiting for it to arrive in mail. i did send an e-mail to congressman, Thanks to Divya rao. believe CSC is processing mid Aug now..

While an RFE is annoying, it means they're working on your petition. If the RFE is for something minor, you can expect an NOA2 very shortly after responding to the RFE.

We filed in August (NOA1 Aug 23rd) and got approved on Feb 22!!! I'm in Canada with my husband right now and we are celebrating! Good luck to all who are still waiting. It will come soon, it seems that CSC has really picked up their pace lately with the I-130s.
