It amazes me just how much variance there is in approval times. Someone received approval of a K1 21 days after NOA1 without an expedite http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/353930-noa2-in-3-weeks-21-days/

I'm really convinced it's a game of roulette now. Hopefully, the people who have been waiting far longer than this will get some attention soon.

1/13/12 - I-129F Petition Submitted to Dallas Lockbox

1/18/12 - Received at Vermont Service Center

1/20/12 - NOA1

1/24/12 - Touched

2/09/12 - Touched

8/02/12 - NOA2 (197 Days After Received at VSC)

8/14/12 - Received at NVC (Assigned Case Number)

8/16/12 - Departed from NVC

8/20/12 - Arrived in US Embassy Kiev

8/28/12 - Information Received from Embassy via mail

9/12/12 - Interview (Approved)

9/19/12 - Visa Received via Elin Ltd. (FedEx)

10/05/12 - POE

December 28, 2010 - Officially started dating!
July 2,2011 - He proposed in Downtown Monterrey, Mexico, I accepted
September 16, 2011 - Mailed I-129F Application
September 19, 2011 - I-129F arrived at Dallas Lockbox
September 22, 2011 - NOA1
September 24, 2011 - Check cashed!
September 26, 2011 - NOA1 hard copy arrived in the mail
January 3, 2012 - NOA2 email and text message!
January 6, 2012 - NOA2 Hardcopy arrived in the mail.
February 16, 2012 - Packet 3 (invitation letter) arrives in the mail.
March 12, 2012 - ASC Appointment
March 15, 2012 - Interview at Consulate in CDJ.
March 15, 2012 - Approved!
April 18, 2012 - POE - Houston, Texas
June 9, 2012 - Married!

Just received NOA2!

I can't believe how fast it came!

We sent the I-129F petition November 16 2011 it was received there on November 21 2011 and as of February 22 2012 we got notice that our petition approved! Here's hoping that the process can be this fast with other couples too!

Wow good for you guys! Congrats and good luck the rest of the way.

NVC [*] 14 May 2012 - Petition received by NVC ; [*] 16 May 2012 - Petition left NVC.

I wasn't expecting to hear anything until late March. I am wondering what makes things go easier. I was really neurotic about getting everything in order, especially adding lots of evidence of having met in person. I used Post-it notes, haha it was very reader friendly. Good luck to everyone!
