We went first thing this morning to Q Life family clinic and were there by 8am when they opened, and so were a handful of others. We signed in and waited till they sent us upstairs to wait. We were then told to go and pay N13,000 at Access Bank a couple of streets over. (Make sure you get the GREEN receipt from the papers they give you to take to the bank). We then walked all the way back to the clinic and waited a total of 7.5hrs to have blood work, xrays and immunizations done. We were not allowed to eat in the building, so if you want to leave to eat, you'll lose your spot in the queue. Make sure you eat well before going and bring some snacks with you so can take a quick break. We had to pay an additional N18,000 at the clinic for a total of N31,000. Make sure you bring two passport photos with you. Also, we used the name of Inspector Emmanuel from visajourney and the contact number listed. When we called him, he told us a price of N5,000 over the phone, but when it was time to pay, my fiance just gave him N3,000 and we left. The Inspector (don't know his title now, as he's been promoted) was not too happy, but my fiance told him that was all the money we had with us. There was another couple there and the woman was getting a police certificate too, and my fiance asked them how much did they pay and they secretly told us N3,000.

Thank you for the guide you provide for the medicals and the police certificate. Pls can you post the contact number of inspector emmanuel because I would be in lagos one of the these days to get my police certificate. Also want to you , how long did you want to get your package 3 from the embassy?.

unfair experience with the clinic though... i think the police was a better result..

don't worry about any inspector... just go there and don't act American.. its prob better for ur fiance to go inside alone and speak/bargain like someone in Nigeria will do

31K for medicals ??? for how many people cos it is supposed to cost 21k minus the cost of follow up vaccines....and why the wait of 7.5 hrs? people better go to Children's practice Clinic who are not as new with the process.

good deal on the police report. My mom paid 5K twice( the old one expired due to missed appointment)

DO not use the Q Life clinic. They just started service in January 2012!

Kemmy, it took us approximately 2-3wks to get our packet 3/4. We received it after I had emailed the embassy. When you call and speak with the inspector, just tell him you got his number from a friend that had been there before, but don't say any names. This is so he'll know you have an idea of what it's going to cost. His office is at Alagbon Police Station in Ikoyi. His number is 08034091216.

The 31k was for one person. We are to return on Tuesday to pick up his records and xrays.

Once again, thanks everyone for the info on the police certificate and the medicals. I also want to ask, pls like you said earlier your package 3 came in within 2-3 weeks of mailing the embassy. I read somewhere that one doesn't need to mail them because they would certainly sent the package 3.now is that correct? Because am yet to receive my package 3. My NOA2 was on the 30 jan,2012.also, did your package 3 include your interveiw date?.

My wife and daughter just went to the new clinic too for their medical and my wife complained so bitterly for waiting there for up to 8 hours for medical .. This is ridiculous and why is the money they charge different from KAMORASS

Actually they started service Feb 1st. I know cos my mom called them and they said they wont start till Feb so she used KAMORASS towards the end of january. Q- Life is still new but does not explain why they have to charge 10k more than what Childrens practice and KAMORASS were charging( unless there has been an unanimous increase). That wait time is ridiculous!!!!

Kemmy, we got our NOA2 around Jan 23rd. I waited till I arrived in Nigeria, which was a week+ later to email them. It was my 3rd time to email them when we received our packet 3/4. It had the interview date and time in the email plus all the paperwork to download. Hope that helps.

Pascanda, thank you. It really helps.sorry to bother. I assuming that my interview date might be almost a week or a couple of weeks from yours. Is yours coming up in a 2months time? Atleast it would help me to determine how long my interview date would be from now.

Hi all,

Kindly specify how long it took you to get you police report and also how long it took you to get done with all medical stuff. Your feedback will really help to plan my trip to Lagos. Would I get the police report same day?

Thanks and all the best.
