Hello Everyone,

I am new on Visa journey. However, I filed the I-751 in September 2011 and after the biometrics in October, I have not heard from USCIS ever since. Have any with the same time frame heard from them?

I would say take your mind off of it and check back in 11 weeks. VSC is still on June cases. June has just above 15000 applicants, which is the highest it has been in FOREVER. Its almost double what it has been for other months including sept 11. It's way too early to even start worrying yourself, because you still have a long wait.

Thank you Danmarkx!

Nothing to worry,,,I filed in July and haven't heard a word back from USCIS! Its a waiting game. Best of luck!

Thanks for the advice. Goodluck!

it takes about 6 months or longer. you can sign up for your case updates on the uscis website.

Thanks for the feedback. I have an updated account already.

We also filed in September 2011 and Biometrics in October and have had no news from USCIS since then either.

I was getting ready to ask this same exact question so THANKS for asking for me! And thanks to everyone who replied - I'm much relieved now...phew!!! happy.gif

As of:

June 26, 2012 - The Hubbs received his 10-year Permanent Residency Card (aka THE Greencard) in the mail today!

At long last, this highly stressful leg of our journey has come to a close - for now - and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative for all the tremendous help and support here on VJ! Without VisaJourney I doubt we would be where my husband and I are today! Thanks to all!
