If he hasn't had a vasectomy then don't worry. Just keep trying and trying and trying, if you catch my drift.

My wife is on my azz big time also to knock her up. Not only that but my new Mother-in-law apparently is going to die an unhappy woman if I fail at getting her more grandkids as she has stated to me numerous times. It is not like I don't want to but I am 52 years old myself and stress is not good for me. So try not to pressure your hubby.

Brother LuckyTxn...have the baby...then continue to do as you are doing now: stick to the road (at least until the kid is in school)

hello everyone. im27 years old and my husband is 52 years old iv been here in usa for 8 months and i really wanna have baby.i dont want to ask my husband to go and see a doctor because i dont wana insult him.. i just dont want him to feel that im having a doubt that he cant get me pregnant... can you guys give me advice what can i take like vitamins what so ever that dont need prscription from a doctor? thanks

Honestly I'm not trying to be rude when I say - don't just assume it's your husband because he's older. Unlike women who have a set number of eggs, men constantly produce sperm. Medication, drugs, alcohol, hormones etc can alter sperm count BUT they also affect a woman. Age isn't relevant to his sperm count. My father had 4 children starting at 64 and stopping at 69 ONLY because my mother had her tubes tied. There were times when it was a little harder. They owned their own business and were stressed.

That said, getting a man checked is less invasive than getting a woman checked. He just need to... produce a sample. You will need tests as well but your "plumbing" is internal so that's why it's more invasive.

I'm also not trying to be rude when I say you need to TALK to him about it. Remember it's not JUST him that's involved in the baby making process so yes, accusing him is rude and insulting. You BOTH need to be tested because it could be you, it could be him, or it could be BOTH of you. If having a baby is important to both of you then neither you nor he should have problems going to the doctor to get checked.

I also agree that 8 months isn't very long. 12 months is how long they normally want you to try before they start running tests (unless you have a known condition like PCOS that could make it more difficult).

he dint under go vasectomy.. he's been telling me that its too early to see a doctor.. and might be we are both stress' and the more i force it to happen the more were gana get frustrated... he also drink beer evrynyt but not to the extend that he'l gt drunk....like 4 to 8 cans of coors light,,,,and everytime he had beer he wont get erection..sorry for the word i used.

drinking every night = no baby for you

A lot of guys over 50 don't want sex more than twice a week anyway.

the best way to turn him off though is to bug him to have sex more often

He probably has a drinking problem but hearing that from you would probably make him mad.

He also probably already has kids and having more is not high on his priority list.

Anything you can do to get him in better shape physically will help your chances.

Any kind of exercise is good, brown rice and fish are healthy foods.

Well in her defense she is the youngest of 13 brothers and sisters. She has helped raise all her nieces and nephews and pretty much raised to be a mom from childhood. She since moving here is like a second mom to all her friends kids.
