This can be a sensitive topic to discuss with your husband. You may want to go to the doctor to get a check up to eliminate that you are not the problem. Once that is done then you will know for sure it is your husband's issue. So I recommend as a first step to get check up. Alternatively you will evetually have to have a heart to heart talk with your husband. He might be aware he has an issue.

If he hasn't had a vasectomy then don't worry. Just keep trying and trying and trying, if you catch my drift.star_smile.gif

My wife is on my azz big time also to knock her up. Not only that but my new Mother-in-law apparently is going to die an unhappy woman if I fail at getting her more grandkids as she has stated to me numerous times. It is not like I don't want to but I am 52 years old myself and stress is not good for me. So try not to pressure your hubby.

It sounds to me like he's not keeping his end of the marriage up.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Op, keep in mind it takes the average couple 7 months to conceive, so you are still within the "normal" range. Are you keeping track of your fertility? There are several ways of doing that such as taking your temperature first thing in the morning, using ovulation sticks etc- google it. That may help, at least you'd know whne you are most fertile to seduce your husband (though may be best not to tell him when, so he doesn't get "performance anxiety"!).

I agree here, track your fertility and when you're ovulating by using the tools available on the market that will help you to determine this and pay attention to your body each month as to how you feel 12-16 days after your last cycle. The window to conceive is very short, so get to him before he gets to the Coors.

Some good reading for you before you spend money for a doctor to get a check up.

Good luck!

At 52, does your husband even want to be a father?

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Don't completely rely on fertility calculators or ovulation calendars in monitoring your O day. Amazon has very affordable ovulation test strips that you may use and they are 95%-99% accurate.

You need more than luck but good luck anyway. Just make sure that you really wanna have kids though, not that your parents or your husband's parents want to see new grandchildren, or that it is a part of society's expectation that kids follow marriage, or that you want somebody to take care of you when you grow old. Be deliberate.
