Congratulations!!! If you don't mind, would you please just list useful tips for this process for those of us dealing with the Kenya embassy? I see you guys went from I-129F all the way to the visa interview in 5 months, please pass on the luck :-) Just at the beginning of my process, hoping to be done with by July so we can make it to get married August/September. Anyway, I will appreciate any useful tips you can provide. Do you happen to know if the embassy allows for a co-sponsor? My fiance will move back to the US before my interview and hopefully get a job but just helpful to also know if a co-sponsor is an option since his father is willing to help.

All the best to you, you did it!

thank you. i feel luck - i did my naturalization in june and then started the process for my fiance so its been a few hectic months ----- soooo worth it.

i think i just added a note to the nairobi embassy topic. the embassy did not ask for the financial info from my fiance. when i interviewed with them they never asked for a sponsor - maybe its my luck. He said that so many fiances and married couples came through and were not asked for anything. am sure this is not always the case so have a co-sponsor just in case.

good luck to you. all i can say is once your case leaves nvc its up to you to follow up. My case left nvc and immediately i started checking my email. once they sent me the email he went to pay the mrv fee and booked the same day (give it a few hours - at least 4hrs).they have so many openings so you should get an appointment within a few days.

hopefully all will be well. any questions just message me - being from kenya and my fiance doing this process i feel like i have a pretty good idea about what to expect.
