Hey,

I saw on here somewhere that at the interview I need to have TWO DS-156's... is this correct? As in ONE signed and dated, AND, it's photocopy?

Really wish I had the interview already so I can stop stressin' over these pieces of paper!

No, two original signed ones. You can photocopy the one you print out, but both need original signatures, at least that's the way I understood it. Photocopy it before you sign it. Easy.

Yeah, 2 copies, look under embassy reviews, choose Ireland. Print 2 copies out, easypeasy. Good luck with your interview. :)

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

Signed at the consulate? I signed mine before and it wasn't a problem. It doesn't say that on the form. The DS-156K on the other hand has to be signed at the consulate and you only need one copy of that.

It may be country specific. My packet 3 instructions doesn't say anything about not signing the forms, but the VJ Paris embassy webpage says that all forms must be unsigned (I guess it comes from experience of past members, and the embassy officers maybe prefer to see the beneficiary signs in front of them). Anyway, there's no rush to sign them now, you can ask at the embassy and sign them all there if you didn't (it's just some quick signatures).

This is for forms I will bring with me at the embassy, the ones I had to send back before the interview were signed for sure.

You can sign DS-156 before the interview. Only DS-156k states that it must be signed in front of a consular.

Sent I-129F: June 25th, 2011

NOA1: June 28th, 2011

Case "Touched": July 1st, 2011

NOA2: November 14th, 2011

NVC sent to Dublin Embassy: November 23rd, 2011

Dublin Embassy Received: November 28th, 2011

Medical: December 7th, 2011

Packet 3 Received: December 12, 2011

Packet 3 Sent: December 13, 2011

Packet 4 Received: January 5th, 2012

Interview: January 19th, 2012.......We're APPROVED!!!!!....

Flying to U.S.: February 15th, 2012

Married on: March 10th, 2012 :)))))) & today I will marry my best friend

NOA2 after 139 days
