Greetings all!!!

Should I worry that its been 14days since the NVC received my file. Everytime I call they're saying its undergoing additional review....what does that mean exactly? My fiance has already done the medical & vaccinations, printed and filled out the forms.. :wacko:

Maybe they're just looking through your file to determine everything is the way that it's suppose to, or doing background checks. Your medical is usually good for a year. I did medical prior to getting NOA2(different country) and managed to AOS within 9 months of the date on the medical.

Some files get pulled aside for this additional processing for what appears to be a random cause. In my cause, it was in this state for about 2.5 weeks last December, but then moved along to the consulate. With zero visibility into their process, the only advice is to just wait.
