I would book a infopass appointment immediately ... Don't listen to what the person on the phone is telling you, most of the time they don't have a clue what they are talking about ...

I can't believe that USCIS could mess this up so bad .... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that just angers me and it isn't even my EAD they did this too ....

the thing is, the infopass would mean i have to travel 4 hours to get to it, with my husband working and such its just not feesable to do so. i will send in the card they sent me and a letter explaining what has happened and just hope and pray it doesnt take them another 18 months to get me out a new one

when i called to complain that our EAD was backdated (as most are) they also told me to return the card and they will look into it. i was like #######? We waited for this card and now you want us to give it up? Give me a freakin break. I told her I could send her a scan of the card. No deal. I pushed and kept asking why do you need the ACTUAL card back... this is our only proof of eligibility. still no deal - we dropped it.

Make an Infopass, it sounds like the only way to get some real help.

Go to the USCIS and set an appointment by infopass, thats the best thing you can do for that. ring all the paperworks that you have from them, dont call them again because they cant figured out what you are saying , i can say. if you got the email from USCIS too saying that you approved the EAD print it, tell them everything,

i spoke to them again today and we got it worked out, because my processing time was stupidly long, they gave me the 1 year work card and by the time i was approved it was expired, all i have to do is send it back and apply for a renewal. so, thats what ive done!
