Hi Friends

I contatced Indian consulate regarding my police clearance from India and they told me that i can get it but it will take about 2 months. I want to start this process now rather than waiting for NOA2. But according to my timeline i will get my NOA2 in May and then for interview another 3 months and my certificate might be outdated by then. Not sure what to do. Any advice?

Order it in April. If you haven't been back to India recently, then order it now. From the London website:

Note: United Kigngdom police certificates are valid for one (1) year only. All other foreign police certificates are valid indefinitely, unless the applicant has traveled to the country in the last year. Bearing in mind this information, applicants must ensure that a valid police certificate is presented at the time of their appointment.
