Hey!

Okay so I have a Biometrics Appt for the 24th but this entire week every street going to or out of my town has been closed. Therefore I CAN NOT send out mail either! I cant send the Notice and ask for a new appointment.

I called USCIS the last couple days but got kicked out of line, today Ive been told "just write a letter and explain your situation, send it with the Notice and hope it gets here in time. If not they SHOULD be understanding due to the weather, your case will be abandoned but you can open it later again"

is that seriously what I should do??

does noone have an idea for me?

last afternoon the roads opened but then we got hit by a blizzard and are stuck again ... if my mom in law doesnt pick me up today I wont be able to make it there at all (my green card expired, never got NOA1 and hubby is 2 states away on a work trip :( )

well just in case someone else needs this: I made it to my appointment, the roads opened in the last minute and they were actually surprised that I was able to make it! but also said they would have understood and would NOT abandon my case as long as they get an explanation within a couple of days
