I have called NVC several times. My I-129F was approved January 31, 2011 but NVC says they still do not have my application. They tell me to wait at least 15 business days for them to process it an put it in the system. I have seen several people get their Embassy interview in 2 to 3 weeks from NOA2. Should I be worried about my application or be more patient?

Be more patient. It has been only been a few weeks. Some people just take longer than others but it does not mean anything negative. Just the way it is.

Just as a note... I waited 2 weeks after NOA2 (Jan 30th) and started calling the NVC. I used the automated function to check on the status, and every time was told they had no record of my file. Lo and behold, when I was visiting my fiancee this weekend, a letter shows up from the NVC, dated Feb. 8th, stating that they received the I-129F and would be forwarding it on to the consulate within a day or two.

All that to say, don't always trust what their system tells you. At the end of the day, there's not much else we can do but wait.

The automated function doesn't work for K-1. You only know by talking to an operator.

got an e-mail from NVC. They still do not have my petition, since it has been over 15 days they asked me to scan a copy of the NOA2 and send it to them and they will start to research where the petition is. Hope they find it!!!

I had to do the same thing.

It turned out that USCIS in Vermont still had mine, sitting in a postroom waiting to be sent for 7 weeks.

The worst thing was that when I called Vermont, I was told it was sent. When I called NVC I was told Vermont still had it. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:
