I-130 Expedite Question

Hi there VJ Friends! I have a quick question for anybody out there with a similar experience. I put in an expedite request last Thursday and I was wondering if anybody has a rough idea of how long does CSC take to respond if whether the expedite was approved or not? Also, although it is an expedite, would the processing of my I-130 take extra time because of the country my spouse is from?

Citizenship

6/24/2016: Mailed N-400 package via USPS from Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan

7/11/2016: Received NOA1 dated 7/5/2016

11/3/2016: Received email from USCIS-Seoul Office with Naturalization appt set for 11/30/2016

11/30/2016: Naturalization Interview on Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan. N-400 Approved

12/1/2016: Naturalization Ceremony

I can tell you from my own experience. I put in the request and the next day I received the email about expedite approval. From what I remember I think phone rep said that USCIS will contact within 5 days.

I was contacted within 30 minutes via email after placing my expedite request over the phone. The email, though, asked me to fax supporting documentation which I did on Wednesday evening. As of today, though I have not received any other emails from USCIS. And yes, you're right I remember the operator saying something about 5 business days to be contacted. I guess today was day 3. Thanks! :thumbs:
