savyandmanny,

It really depends on your household size. If it is just you and your Fiance, then yes, it's enough.

On the other hand, if you have a large household, that can change things. Consult the poverty line of income chart.

Yodrak,

Wow. That really generates curiosity on my part. How could that be possible? Length of employment? Help me understand that.

savyandmanny,

Hard to say - it's only 1 piece of the puzzle.

When I met my wife I was making in excess of $120,000 per year. It was not adequate.

Yes I'd like to know that too because I make $62,000 and was told that is way more than enough by not only 1 immigration attorney but 2 people who work for USCIS, 1 of them used to work at TSC!

09/25/06 - Received at CSC by N. Tan

30K should be enough. I spoke with a lawyer about this and you're making almost double what the minimum is. We all know that 17K is nothing.

I wouldn't worry about it, but you could get a co-sponsor just in case.

Isn't it true that we can also send a bank statement showing how much money has gone through the bank since we opened the account?

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

Exactly. The circumstances.

There are several that could be important. William mentioned one of them in his first post in this thread. Savyandmanny did not provide information about any of them in asking the original question.

Yodrak

Yeah what were the circumstances?
