Hello everyone. This is a great site and full of information.

However, I am having trouble getting off the ground. I will be submitting a I-129F, and I want to make sure I have everything gathered when I submit the packet.

I talked to my boss, because he did the same thing last year. But, I think he's not as organized and just gave everything to his attorney to put together. My boss probably told me too much at once. He gave me all the forms and more before I found this site, so I'm working on getting everything right to help reduce any hiccups in the process.

He made it seem like there's way more to submit than what's listed on: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

So, I'm asking you guys (and I assume it's either a dumb question or already answered many times), What exactly do I need my fiancée to send me? I have filled out all of the I-129F with my fiancée over Skype. How important is having the G-325a and declaration of meeting signed by her? Can she print these out, sign, and email to me or do I need to have the actual pages she signed?

Thanks in advance.

Any forms and anything government related makes me nervous.

TL;DR Does my fiancée have to sign and mail me a copy of G-325a & declaration of meeting instead of emailing scanned signed copies?

Forms and the letter must have ORIGINAL signatures. They will RFE or return the entire package to you and ask for the letter and form. Don't forget the passport photos that go with the 325 form as well.

Hi and welcome to VJ.

The VJ K1 Visa Guide contains details of everything you need to send with your i129f. Just follow this guide.

Your fiancee must complete and sign the G325A, prepare, sign and date a statement of intent to marry. She will need to mail the signed originals to you along with the other documents requested if you don't already have them such as passport photo, copy of her divorce decree if she was previously married, copies of stamps in passport if she has travelled to visit you and any other evidence of having met in the previous 2 years that she has that will help support your petition.

I hope this helps. Good luck with your petition.

Thanks for the help.

How did you guys send the package in? 3-ring binder or just loose? I doubt they want it all stapled together.

Don't use staples or binders. Just use a big clip to hold it together for mailing. They will break it apart and organize it in their files how they like. They would just toss out any binders or extras sent in.
