Car broke down on the way back to Canada on U.S highway last month. Big thank to Brett's mom and dad; the car has been fixed and paid and in the garage now! The only thing is no more driving for me to the States. Also no car for me until I move there. Good thing is I can save up the gas money also the insurance :)

Spent extra 2 weeks to get the packet 3 (extending my work permit and emailing them all those evidence and their mailing time). Now have to get the criminal record check from country I'd lived since 16... another week or 2 to work on that. Then, more $ for physical, interview, flight ticket, hotel... Can't scheduling interview before April because of the work contract thingy... Oh well!

Sorry for being whiny :sleepy: and I know should be thankful and appreciate everything is on its way now; but just.... not quite motivated with all those things :bonk: i don't like the stage of limbo...

Hope you're having a wonderful day and feeling much positive than I am!

Aww I feel your pain. Hug! To me, the wait after the consulate was the most excruciating in the whole process. You'll work it out. One little bit at a time and before you know it, you'll be with your honey :)

Not sure why you say you can't schedule your interview. As soon as your Packet 4 will be sent to you, you can go ahead and schedule your appointment and book your medical too. When you schedule an appointment with the consulate, you get to pick a date. Someone could schedule today for later in April.

US citizen since April 2016

ROC completed April 2014

AOS from K1 completed February 2012

The feeling that your life is "on hold" is not an easy one.

Hopefully things will go smoothly for you now and it'll seem like a blink of an eye until you're down there. :)

:):)HUG! Thank you! :) I feel better after a 30 minutes walk tonight! Super thankful the weather in Manitoba this year is VERY warm!! Otherwise I'd probably feel worse :P My fiance said we're already a lot better than people from other regions. Just 5 hours drive away and no visa is needed when entering U.S :) haha... but still a bit low sometimes :)

Actually I have already paid for the interview fee and I almost schedule the interview and physical today but just have to wait for my work schedule... (April will be a new term and I've to take 2 days off to travel to Vancouver)... so, hopefully things will be done before May :) soon but still quite a lot have to be done!

Thank you for your message!! :):) (F) (F)

On hold!! Exactly!!!!! My co-worker said it's a stage of limboing! I'm not good at balacing myself when I'm stucked in this stage :) My brother is very good at dealing with this stage though... He doesn't care and he works on things at the very last minute! Haha... so he won't be on hold! :P

Yeh  I should hang out more with my friends and my brother here for the last couple months in here I guess! Not long now! Hmm, it just reminds me I left my home country almost 8 years ago and studied here in Canada... Now another move is coming! Such is life B-) Thank you for your message!! (F):)

Haha it's cool to ramble and let it all out  I know all about limbo! I have been stuck in Administrative Processing for almost 3 months since my interview and not knowing when I'll hear anything or get my visa...

I can't do anything here except wait...and wait...and wait...

On a positive note I've turned into an excellent cook because all I do is learn how to cook new things to keep my mind off everything!

But the limbo and the crazy waiting and everything is a small price to pay to be with the person you love. That's what I tell myself!
