i received a rfe in the mail stating they wanted my fiancee's birth certificate.

I have it but it needs to be translated. How do i go about this? can i have a friend of mine translate it?

do i have to have it signed off by the person who translates it? If a friend cannot do it is there someone i can find that will do it? since i received this rfe, does this mean they will not send anymore rfe's from my application?

Interesting that they use the word "fluent" when it's literacy that's required. Perhaps the person who wrote the certification wasn't either.
