Hello everyone i have a series of questions over I-864 form. For Part 3. Information on the immigrant(s) you are sponsoring. Q. 8 it asks, I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2 above, and it has yes or no as choice options. I went ahead and put in yes, but I am unsure since option No states (Applicable only in cases with two joint sponsors), which I do, both my mother and father will be sponsoring my husband. Next question for Part 5. Sponsors hold size. Q.21 letter g, it states: If you have siblings, parents,or adult children with the same principal residence who are combining their income with yours by submitting Form I-864, enter the number here. There would I put one or two, both my parents are sponsoring my husband as I stated before but my dad is doing form I-864 and my mother is doing I-864A.( if need, both my parents, me and my husband and two siblings reside in the same household) Part 6. Q. 24 My current annual household income, letter d, it states : The persons listed above have completed Form I-864A. I am filing along with this form all necessary Forms I-864A completed by these persons. Do i just go ahead and leave this blank, since only my mother is doing form I-864A. Last question, for Part 7, Q. 27 Your household member's assets from Form I-864A. Assets from Form I-864A,line 12d for..it states: name of relative, do I put just my mothers name since she is filling form I-864A or do I also list my dad since they do fill taxes jointly. I know it is a lot, but hopefully i can get some help. Thanks

Ok, first off, your dad is the only joint sponsor. Your mother is filling out the I-864A as a member of your dad's household. She does not even need to do this if your dad qualifies on his own, even if they file taxes jointly.

Part 3- #8: You and your father both check yes there.

Part 5- # 21: You enter 0 for g., as no one is filling out an I-864A to go along with your I-864. If your mother is filling out the I-864A to go with your father's, then your father still enters 0 because he will put a 1 for spouse on c., and you do not count anyone twice.

Part 6- # 24(b. and d.) and Part 7- #27: You do not list anything there on your I-864. Again, if your mother fills out an I-864A to combine her income and assets with your father's, then you list her in those sections on your father's I-864 only. Also, if the income alone is enough to qualify, then there is no need to list any assets at all anyway.

On his I-864, your father checks d. in Part 1- #1, and on the I-864A #8, your mother checks c. and spouse. Then in Part 2. Sponsor's Promise, your father fills out that section, listing your husband as the intending immigrant in the first box there, then signs and dates it in #14. Your mother fills out Part 3. Household Member's Promise, signs and dates the form in #16.

Hello once again I have a couple of more questions on I-864 but this time on the one my dad is filling out. On Part 4 Q. 20 Military Service (To be completed by petitioner sponsors only.); does my dad leave this question blank? Then on Part 5 Sponsor’s household size. Where would I go under, since I was a dependent on my dad’s 2010 taxes do I go under letter d or e?

Thank you so much for the help so far, It has really helped ease my stress during this process.
