Hola all,

As things would have it, I just got back from Colombia where my wife and I were in Bogota then Barranquilla. (Great opportunity for ministry work for those of you walking with the Lord).

Anyway...as we were headed to bed one night, I got 2 emails from USCIS. They were both letting us know that the i-130 and the i-129 were approved by USCIS. Exactly 7 days later on the 17th, I received 2 more emails with attachments. 1 was addressed to my wife, and the other to me. They appeared similar and contained the AOS sheet but mine had the billing info as well. The one she received (to my email as well) had 3 sets of numbers in it:

Your NVC Case Number: BGT2012******

Your Invoice I.D. Number: ********

Your Beneficiary I.D. Number: ********

As I read through the attachments, it said to go on line and pay so I did...$88.00 and now have a cover sheet and billing confirmation (but they have not accepted the money yet <they say it will take 2-3 business days>)

My wife sent FROM HER EMAIL ACCOUNT the AOS email as listed here http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

We filled out the DS230 (But what do we do with this?)

What do we need to do next?

I have collected all my tax docs, we are ready to pay all the fees ASW the process, and anxious to do something....BUT WHAT???

We know we are missing something (process wise) and have SOOOOOOOOOOOO many charts, instructions, and user advice comments that are invaluable and grateful to have....but the overwhelming amount of data is just a lot.

Can someone look at where we are and please simplify it for us in a: NOW...she needs to, NOW...you need to...format?

- Really, we dont know what to say to the folks on this site. Up to now, the users have been so helpful, comforting, and at times....calming. I have been keeping records of my interactions and dealing with the USCIS and as I mentioned a while back....the formal inquiry to the GAO, House delegate, and the USCIS OIG WILL HAPPEN. We are obviously at the point where I could chalk it up as past venting but I wasn't. This immigration matter is serious business when you are keeping loved ones away from each other. Not everyone can afford to travel to and from to be together and not everyone will be able to articulate their "visa journey" as I plan to so I will voice my concerns to the public servants who are charged with accountability that I, the tax payer demand an answer for.

***For all of you intending on immigrating here... Political types are servants of "We the people" NOT celebrities as some of them may believe because of their circles of yes men telling them how important and great they are. The reality is...We the people (me) will vote them out of their job...AND DONT FORGET THIS WHEN YOU GET THE RIGHT TO VOTE EITHER!!! Look at the important issues that you have suffered under. (Immigration). So yes..I am going to demand accountability and it will be for those after us. Maybe you (based off your time lines) LOL!!! JAJAJA!!!

Thank you jkelly07. We have the guides....lots of them. Which one is the most concise and sequential? This one looks to be pretty good but not sure if its outdated like some of the others. http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

Hey....You said above that because we have our BGT..... number, our case is complete? What exactly does that mean? They have not accepted our payment yet, we have no date for interview, and we are still putting papers together. Can you please explain what it means since we have 3 sets of numbers?

Thank you,

danyte
