Hi green/tran,

For the I-134 and the K1 visa through HCMC, understand that this affidavit of support is technically not legally binding. Therefore there is a lot of discretion left to the interviewing consular officer as to decide what is sufficient (i.e. income, co-sponsor, etc.).

I would suggest you go with the 125% poverty guideline figure. This K1 petition and application process is a 'total package' the consular officer is looking at (i.e. valid relationship, support, etc.), and the income and I-134 is just one part of that package.

some one told me on i134 i only need to make 100 percent of poverty guidelines is it diffrent in vietnam what do they require on i-134
