I know, USCIS needs a proof that couple live together in the same house. In our case, it's complicated coz we DO live together and have been for 3 years. But it's always been living with relatives / friends, so we just paid them cash for the rent. So, I'm conserned it's gonna affect our petition and asked husband's friend, whom we lived with to sigh a letter. He said, no problem, but make one (of course with all true facts), and I'll sign it. So, here is it, I'm not sure if it's 100% grammar right, and husband is out on emergency, so I can't ask him, please check for mistakes.

To whom it may concern:

We are writing this letter to support the I-751 petition by julia and Adam. I have known Adam for years (we went to elementary school together) and me and my mother, knowing difficult job situation in Nevada, suggested them to come to California and stay with us to make a fresh start . Adam and Julia lived with me and my mother for a few months, from May 2010 till September 2011. They helped us with some bill payments and groceries. They had their own separate room. They moved out together to the bigger town because to was closer to their jobs.

If you have any questions, we may be reached at the phone number or the address above.

I really doubt minor errors in grammar make any difference. The thing is understandable.
