I just completed 5 months since I filed for I-130 and no NOA2 yet. My application is with CSC. I tried to call USCIS and there is no option to press to talk to a customer service representative.

I am tired of waiting to see the approval. Please God help me.

Hey there today is a federal holiday, so USCIS agents are hanging with their families today!

I too am an August filer still waiting since August 19th. I hit 6 months yesterday.

Be encouraged and know that there are others waiting with you If the trends continues as it has been in the past week. Late July and Early August filers are being approved so hopefully they will be done with July in August mid March.

Good luck and God bless

It took 6.5 months for CSC to approve my application. They are backed up. Just be patient and wait. Today is a federal holiday. Call them tomorrow and ask about your application. If you are beyond normal processing times for their current processing schedule, they will put in a service request for you.

Personal advice, just be patient and wait. 5 months is just the average. It usually takes more time.

A lot of cases that usually would have been DCF have now be sent to service centers for processing, hence delays. I would imagine some cases may need more processing than others. The only thing you can do is keep in contact with USCIS via phone. Some people have had approvals and never knew until they called. Good luck all

Hello All,

I just called USCIS and spoke with a customer service representative. She said that CSC is still working on July 12th applications and it will take another 3 months to process my case which was filed on Sep 19th. I told her it is beyond the processing times and requested her to put a service request. She refused and said that processing time of 5 months is just an estimation.

This means I need to wait 3 more months for approval and it will not get approved until the end of May. I am losing my patience of waiting but I will keep praying. That is all I can do.

I have no idea where the July 12th date is coming from. I am confused because this is not what I was told when I called.

Here is a link to a forum posting monitoring the USCIS's approvals.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/343684-paisamans-i-130-csc-statistics/page__st__150

It looks not only at VJ members but all other applicants not on VJ. The USCIS phone line is commonly known as the misinformation line for a reason. Have a look at the stats as it presents a completely different picture.

I also strongly doubt they would be still working on July 12th for over a month! Someone else called and they said July 20th. This is also not a linaer process, just because one person receives their NOA2 in the same month you have filed, doesnt mean you will either.

I just called USCIS again and they said that CSC is currently processing Aug 2nd applications and it will take one month to process my case (NOA1 dated Sep 19th). When I called last week, someone said they are processing July 12th applications so it will take 3 months to process my case. I noticed that some Sep filers have already received their approvals. I am not sure how they go by to process the cases.

Anyway, hope mine gets approved at least by end of March.

I would listen and look at the current processing times on the CSC website. If they are saying that on their website I would very much doubt they are processing July 12th still. I am assuming more Aug filers will be approved in March. They are sporadically approving Sept too so you never know your luck.
