Texas no longer processes I-129F applications. The only 2 service centers that process this type of application are California SC and Vermont SC

Check your NOA1 Receipt number if it starts with WAC then your application is at CSC, if it starts with EAC then your application is at VSC

USCIS

29 DEC 2011: I-129F sent

12 JAN 2012: NOA1 via E-mail

25 JAN 2012: Call USCIS to ask if file is at CSC yet, was informed of an email requesting documents that I never received

25 JAN 2012: Response for 'Typographical Error' in the email from the 20th(no wonder I didnt get it)

You sent your petition to the Lewisville, Texas Lockbox Facility, not a USCIS Field Office or Service Center in Texas. Lockbox facilities process the payment and forward the petition to a service center or local office for further processing. As the previous poster correctly stated, your WAC receipt number indicates that your petition is being processed at the California Service Center.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

I agree with all previous answers. Now you can update your timeline with CSC (your estimated interval of probable NOA2 date will be more accurate) and your beneficiary country. You can also update your profile informations so that it you need help in the future through the forums, members will be able to help you in a better way. :)

Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. My first I-130 petition was sent to Vermont and my second I-130 petition was sent to California. I guess the lock boxes decide where to send to. Also, It all depends on what application.
