HELP!!! Does anyone know where San Juan in Los Cabos Mexico is?????????

I am trying to fly down to be with my fiance this weekend and he was transfered to San Juan in Los Cabos. He has NO idea what the surrounding cities are and I can not find anything about San Juan on google. I need to find out where I should fly to, and how far it is from the airport. I need to know if it is a safe area where I can fly by myself. I need to know what hotels are there and how much they charge each night, as well as how safe those hotels are.

According to google this place doesn't exist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELPPPPPPP

Seems like San Juan Los Cabos are one and the same. http://www.cabosource.com/

Also, if he is from Mexico and cannot find his way around Mexico, you BETTER hold his hand when he gets here !

Haha, he does need a little handholding. He said it isn't even close to the ocean and the cruise ship ports though. Thats why I'm confused!

I found a few links that might be helpful ;)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Cabos

http://mexico.pueblosamerica.com/i/san-juan-11/

if it's in the country side and off the beaten track.. I think this is what it is.

http://mexico.pueblosamerica.com/mapas/san-juan-11

http://mexico.pueblosamerica.com/foto/san-juan-11

It says it has 8 inhabitants

It looks like there is one airport in that region...

SO... assuming this is the area.. you'd have to fly in to San Jose del Cabo airport and it's an hour's drive into the region of small villages at the mountain foothills (like to Miraflores and Malda- the nearest villages to San Juan)

I found a post on the "lonely planet" forum mentioning this region.

This member lives in los cabos and might be able to give you advice on how to get around.

Omg. What am I getting myself into.

I think I am going to have to fly there and then just randomly pick a hotel.
