Yes thats why they ask for them :)

Well not in my case. They used the one from the Biometrics. Anyway I got my hair done for both (Biometrics and passport photos) B-)

(Day 1) 05/23/07: Packet sent to CSC

(Day 247) 01/25/08: Interview. Approved!

(Day 254) 02/01/08: Visas Received.

AOS Journey K1-K2

(Day 1) 04/20/08: Application sent.

(Day 73) 07/02/08: EAD,AP Approved!

(Day 108) 08/05/08: AOS Approved!

(Day 114) 08/11/08: 2 years GC received.

ROC Journey K1-K2

(Day 125) 02/03/12: Oath Ceremony. Done!

Daughter and I became U.S. Citizens on 02/03/2012.

(Day 1) 02/09/12: Applied for U.S. Passport & Passport card.

(Day 16) 02/24/12: Passport received.

(Day 19) 02/27/12: Passport Card received.

(Day 24) 03/03/12: Got CoN back.

N-600 for Daughter

(Day 1) 02/04/12: Application sent.

(Day 117) 05/30/12: Picked up Certificate of Citizenship at USCIS local office Chicago.

lol I got my GC the other day and i was like where the hell did they get this picture, i completely forgot i had cut my hair before my biometrics appointment and i was like damn thats a good picture, now I'm thinking i need to cut my hair again LOL :whistle:

If they're going to take your picture, assume that you want to look your best for it and dress/groom accordingly. They may or may not use it, but who wants to spend the rest of eternity with bad hair if they do? :P

when i got my FP done the lady said that that picture will be the one they will use.i got my hair done.but with that white backround i feel like i still looked like americas most wanted.

i hate the pasport pictures.i dont really like any of my pictures

11/12/11.....N400 send to Nebraska service center

11/14/11.....N400 delivered to NE

11/21/11.....Check cashed

11/23/11......NOA recived in the mail(priority date nov 14)(notice date nov 21)..(you will be notified of the date and place of your interview when you have been scheduled by the local USCIS office.you should expect to be notified withing 90 days of this notice)

12/13/11......got text and email about biometric letter being send out

12/17/11.......got biometric letter in the mail(appointment date dec 28th)

12/19/11.....did early walk in FP

12/22/11.......got email and text about being placed in line for interview scheduling

01/30/12.......got email from my IO were i was asked to pick my own interview date and send email back with the date i picked

02/06/12......got INETRVIEW email with appointment letter(have to print that out and bring with me on the interview day)

02/28/12.......INTERVIEW with oath on the same day(as long i pass the test afcorse.)

Do the pictures you turn in with form N400 show up on your naturalization certificate? Is yes, I'd like to get my hair done. I dont wan to look all creepy. Please help.

As has already been pointed out - it is always a good idea to look your best, however, please do not use any artificial hair such as wigs etc. That goes for ladies also. If there is no hair well then you can just shine on through (smile). Good luck. Many blessings.
