Hi All,

Doing out AOS now and on the I-684, Part 5, Question 21 they ask for household size. Since we put "1" in the first box then 1 for the sponsor, we have 2. But then it says if married list your spouse. Since we are now married, checking that box is counting her person twice. Making the household size three. It says not to count anyone twice.

Does anyone know if we should leave the spouse box a "0" or make it "1" and total "3"? That part is very confusing.

Also is there any other evidence beside the tax return that needs to be submitted with the form, such as letter from employer etc..?

Thank you all.

The 864 example form shows how to fill it out and avoid counting someone twice.

Have a look at the form it should help you fix your issue with filing that section out.
